SONITPUR POLYTECHNIC

Sonitpur Polytechnic, a Govt. Polytechnic belongs to an area under the administrative control of Sonitpur district in the state of Assam in India. It is situated at Thelamara, 1 Km north to the NH -15, 22km West to Tezpur town and 10km East to Dhekiajuli surrounded by the lush greenery of the nature. The Polytechnic runs 3 year Diploma Courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 per department.

Sonitpur Polytechnic is affiliated to the State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Assam. The SCTE, Assam is a Council of members appointed by the Government of Assam to advise the Government in all matters relating to Technical Education in the State.
The Polytechnic obtained Letter of Approval (LoA) from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on 30th April, 2017 and started its academic activities from August, 2017. Till date one batch of students have passed out from Sonitpur Polytechnic with flying colours.
